Sunflower Home Care
Sunflower Home Care shall operate as a licensed Home Care Services Company in Pierce County in the State of Washington, in accordance with RCW 70.127.10, providing home care services to individuals in their residence. The company may provide certain delegated tasks of nursing under RCW 18.79.260(3)(e); however, to be clear, Sunflower Home Care is not a home health company.
Sunflower Home Care will at all times comply with the requirements of the Department of Health as identified in RCW 70.127. The company will maintain a current license, will never knowingly make a false statement to the Department of Health per these guidelines; will allow the representatives of the Department of Health to examine any area of the business or client care that they choose; will never impede the work of the Department of Health in its review of the business; will never use false of misleading advertising; will never knowingly violate any federal or state statute or rule of law in regard to the business; will never fail to comply with an order issued by the Department of Health; will never abuse, neglect, or abandon a client; will never misappropriate the property of an individual; and will report immediately any abuse or neglect of a client per chapter RCW 74.34.
Sunflower Home Care is a 24 hour – 7 day a week operation. The company office will be open during normal business hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A staff member will be available during these hours to answer the phone and greet the public. The Administrator or alternate will be readily available by telecommunication.
An on-call roster will be maintained in the company. There will be qualified team members who will rotate on-call responsibilities which include the following:
The integrity of the on-call roster and any other records containing protected health information will be in compliance with established protocols and applicable laws relative to confidentiality of clinical and business records.
